Refund Policy

This Refund Policy sets out the criteria and procedures for refunds of membership fees and conference registration fees for the services provided by the International IHCI Society (the "Society"). Matters not addressed in this Policy are governed by the Terms of Service and applicable law.

Refunds of membership and conference registration fees follow applicable law and the criteria in this Policy, and are made to the original means of payment in principle.

Membership fees are refunded as follows:

1. 1Full refund within 7 days of payment if the Services have not been used
2. 2Thereafter, a pro-rated refund for the remaining period
3. 3Refund criteria for one-time payments such as Lifetime membership may be set separately

Conference registration fees are subject to the cancellation and refund schedule announced for each conference, and refunds may be restricted after the deadline. The specific schedule and refund rates are posted on the information page for each conference.

If an event is cancelled due to the Society's fault, fees are refunded in full. Where an event is cancelled or moved online due to force majeure, the scope of refunds will be announced separately.

Refunds may be requested as follows:

1. 1Card payments can be refunded in full directly from My Page > Payment History within 7 days of payment.
2. 2For virtual account or bank transfer payments, partial refunds, or payments made more than 7 days earlier, please contact the Society secretariat at info{'@'}ihci-society.org.
3. 3When requesting a refund, please provide the payer's name, payment date, amount paid, and the reason for the refund.

The Society processes refund requests without delay upon receipt. For card payments, the cancellation may take additional time to appear depending on the card issuer's procedures.

Refunds may be restricted in the following cases:

1. 1The refund deadline announced for the conference has passed
2. 2The service has been fully provided, such as where paper publication procedures have commenced
3. 3Membership has been terminated for violation of the Terms of Service
